EXPANDER Version 3.2 Info: ------------------------- Version 3.2 includes the following improvements (vs. version 3.1.2): Added features: --------------- 1) An attribute color index has been added to the Cluster Matrix Display when it includes enriched category columns. 2) A new slider in the Matrix Display enables the user to set the percentage of extreme values, and thus control color sharpness and range. 3) The user can choose a separate y-axis scale for each cluster in Pattern Displays and Enrichment Displays (a common scale for all clusters is used by default). This option can be configured via Options>>Settings. 4) In the Group Content Table (displayed in the right panel in clustering/bi-clustering solutions), the user can now open a web browser with gene information (NCBI). 5) Hierarchical clustering can now be applied to probes only, conditions only, or both. This option can be configured in the Hierarchical Clustering dialog box. Fixed bugs: ---------- 1) The coloring of histogram columns after functional/promoter analysis was improved (invisible columns, black columns or columns with hight=0 are now taken care of). 2) A bug that caused failure in Cluster Content Display in some cases, after selecting a cluster from a Clustering Solution View, was fixed. 3) A recurrent CLICK failure problem (leading to the message: "Failed deleting temporary file: ./clickInputFile.co.fpn") was fixed. 4) "Out of memory" errors that caused the program not to respond are now reported. Such errors may occur, for example, when loading a big data set, and can be handled by rerunning the program with larger virtual memory. 5) In some cases, not all views were displayed after loading a session. This bug was fixed. 6) An error in displaying M vs. A plot when the base condition is the same as the test condition was taken care of. 7) An overcrowded display of histograms within a single cluster/bi-cluster display when the cluster window is resized to certain sizes was fixed. 8) Previously unreported “File Not Found” Exception, occurring when loading a saved session (if data/conversion files were not found) is now reported. The user can now browse the file system and specify the files location.
