Results of Amadeus genome-wide localization analysis of fly promoters
Amadeus was applied on all the promoters of fly (D. melanogaster)
in order to discover localized motifs, i.e., motifs whose hits are
distributed non-uniformly along the promoters (w.r.t. the TSS).
Promoter sequences from 500 bases upstream to 100 downstream of the TSS
were downloaded from Ensembl (v43).
Below is a screenshot from the output of Amadeus, showing the 30 top-scoring
(i.e., most localized) motifs.
Similar motifs from Transfac (id M0xxxx) and Ohler et al. '02 ("Rubin-x", id M888xx)
are presented for each motif.
